KATLA STUDIOS heart collection adorns an imperfect heart looking as if made of stone. 
A regular activity in the designers childhood was to go to the beach in Iceland and look at stones, shells and all the other treasures that had washed ashore. Whenever she would find a stone naturally shaped like a heart I would give it to my mother, and still do to this day.

Rays of love and Square Love pendants are inspired by drawings that Katla has been making since she was 13 years old where heart necklaces and earrings decorate what she calls 'Allar Heimsins Maríur' originally inspired by the virgin Mary but today have become the women of the world.
